Senior Consultant/NBD Manager, Energy & Energy Services

Position Overview:
The Senior Consultant/NBD Manager is responsible for new business development and origination; account management and consulting services in support of the company’s expanding service platforms.  This is a key position that will require a highly motivated professional who can effectively market Energy New England’s expanding portfolio of services to its target markets, including utilities, governmental agencies, non-utility generators, water authorities and similar entities. Principal focus will be originating deals that help our customers further optimize assets, including generation assets, throughout New England.
 
Key Objectives:
  • Engage in new business development for consulting services and facility-specific deals to further expand ENE’s market presence and customer base
  • Help to sustain ENE’s account and revenue growth in the power supply area, as well as other service platforms
  • Provide call reports and maintain data base of key prospects
  • Provide account management services, as required, to support customer retention goals
  • Deliver consulting services in such areas as asset optimization, consulting, program administration, and energy services
  • Assist in marketing and enterprise-level initiatives, as required
Position Requirements:
  • BS degree in Business, Marketing or similar discipline
  • Prior experience in the marketing and origination of wholesale transactions, including risk management services
  • Minimum five-years consulting and new business development/deal origination experience
  • Current customer base in the energy sector
